Offer Sacrifice of Thanksgiving

To You will I offer sacrifice of thanksgiving,
and I will call upon the name of the Lord.
(Psalm 116:17)

How shall I make a return to the Lord for all the good he has done for me? The cup of salvation I will take up, and I will call upon the name of the Lord. My vows to the Lord I will pay in the presence of all His people. (Ps 116:12-13,18)

Jesus said, "Amen, I say to you, if two of you agree on earth about anything for which they are to pray, it shall be granted to them by my heavenly Father. For where two or three are gathered together in My name, there am I in the midst of them.” (Mt 18:19-20)

The cup of blessing that we bless, is it not a participation in the Blood of Christ? The bread that we break, is it not a participation in the Body of Christ? (1 Cor 10:16) Because the loaf of bread is one, we, though many, are one Body, for we all partake of the one loaf. (1 Cor 10:17)

Come, let us sing joyfully to the Lord; let us acclaim the rock of our salvation. Let us come into His presence with thanksgiving; let us joyfully sing psalm to Him (Ps 95:2). Come, let us bow down in worship; let us kneel before the Lord who made us (Ps 95:1-3).

Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord (1 Tim 1:1-2). I am grateful to Him who has strengthened me, Christ Jesus our Lord, because he considered me trustworthy in appointing me to the ministry. I was once a blasphemer and a persecutor and an arrogant man, but I have been mercifully treated because I acted out of ignorance in my unbelief. Indeed, the grace of our Lord has been abundant, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus (1 Tim 1:12-14).

I bless the Lord who counsels me; even in the night my heart exhorts me (Ps 16:7). I set the Lord ever before me; with Him at my right hand I shall not be disturbed (Ps 16:8).

O Lord, my allotted portion and my cup, You it is who hold fast my lot (Ps 16:5). Keep me, O God, for in You I take refuge; say to the Lord, “My Lord are you” (Ps 16:1-2). You will show me the path to life, fullness of joys in Your presence, the delights at Your right hand forever (Ps 16:11).

Praise the Lord!

Let everything that has breath
praise the Lord!
Alleluia
(Psalm 150:6)

Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him (Col 3:17). Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, as in all wisdom you teach and admonish one another, singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God (Col 3:16).

Jesus said, “The Son of Man is lord of the Sabbath.” (Lk 6:5). "No disciple is superior to the teacher; but when fully trained, every disciple will be like his teacher" (Lk 6:40). "Give and gifts will be given to you; a good measure, packed together, shaken down, and overflowing, will be poured into your lap. For the measure with which you measure will in return be measured out to you.” (Lk 6:38)

Praise the Lord in His sanctuary, praise Him in the firmament of His strength. Praise Him for His mighty deeds, praise Him for His sovereign majesty (Ps 150:1-2). Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Alleluia (Ps 150:6).

You once were alienated and hostile in mind because of evil deeds (Col 1:21). God has now reconciled in His fleshly Body of Christ through His death, to present you holy, without blemish, and irreproachable before Him (Col 1:22). Persevere in the faith, firmly grounded, stable, and not shifting from the hope of the Gospel that you heard (Col 1:23)

If I preach the Gospel, this is no reason for me to boast, for an obligation has been imposed on me, and woe to me if I do not preach it! (1 Cor 9:16) If I do so willingly, I have a recompense; but if unwillingly, then I have been entrusted with a stewardship (1 Cor 9:17). What then is my recompense? That when I preach, I offer the Gospel free of charge so as not to make full use of my right in the Gospel (1 Cor 9:18). All this I do for the sake of the Gospel, so that I too may have a share in it (1 Cor 9:23).

O God, by your name save me, and by your might defend my cause (Ps 54:3). O God, hear my prayer; hearken to the words of my mouth (Ps 54:4). Behold, God is my helper; the Lord sustains my life (Ps 54:6). Freely will I offer you sacrifice; I will praise your name, O Lord, for its goodness (Ps 54:8).

Sent for a Purpose

“To the other towns also I must proclaim
the good news of the Kingdom of God,
because for this purpose I have been sent.”
(Luke 4:43)

The whole world is bearing fruit and growing from the day you heard it and came to know the grace of God in truth (Col 1:6).

God chose to make known the riches of the glory of this mystery; it is Christ in you, the hope for glory (Col 1:27). It is Him whom you proclaim, admonishing everyone and teaching everyone with all wisdom, that you may present everyone perfect in Christ. For this you labor and struggle, in accord with the exercise of His power working within you. (Col 1:28-29) This is the glory of all His faithful (Ps 149:9).

You are a minister in accordance with God’s stewardship given to you to bring to completion the word of God (Col 1:25). Rejoice in your sufferings for their sake, and in your flesh you are filling up what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ on behalf of His Body, which is the Church (Col 1:24). That their hearts may be encouraged as they are brought together in love, to have all the richness of fully assured understanding, for the knowledge of the mystery of God, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. (Col 2:2-3)

Love in the Spirit (Col 1:7). Owe nothing to anyone, except to love one another; for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law Rom 13:18). The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery; you shall not kill; you shall not steal; you shall not covet,” and whatever other commandment there may be, are summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Love does no evil to the neighbor; hence, love is the fulfillment of the law (Rom 13:9-10).

Trust in the Lord at all times! Pour out your hearts before Him; God is your refuge! (Ps 62:9) Like a green olive tree in the house of God, trust in the mercy of God forever and ever (Ps 52:10). Only in God be at rest, your soul, for from Him comes your hope. He only is your rock and your salvation, your stronghold; you shall not be disturbed. (Ps 62:6-7)

I give thanks to You O God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ (Col 1:2). I will thank You always for what You have done, and proclaim the goodness of Your name before Your faithful ones. (Ps 52:11) Let the faithful exult in glory. Alleluia! (Ps 149:5)

Show No Partiality

PAVILION ENCLOSURE - FOLDING GLASS WINDOW
September 04, 2023

Show no partiality as you adhere to the faith
in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ.
JAMES 2:1

If a man with gold rings and fine clothes comes into your assembly, and a poor person in shabby clothes also comes in, and you pay attention to the one wearing the fine clothes and say, “Sit here, please,” while you say to the poor one, “Stand there,” or “Sit at my feet,” have you not made distinctions among yourselves and become judges with evil designs? (Jas 2:2-4)

Jesus said, “I ask you, is it lawful to do good on the sabbath rather than to do evil, to save life rather than to destroy it?” Looking around at them all, He then said to him, “Stretch out your hand.” He did so and his hand was restored. (Luke 6:9-10) “Have you not read what David did when he and those who were with him were hungry? How he went into the house of God, took the bread of offering, which only the priests could lawfully eat, ate of it, and shared it with his companions.” Then He said to them, “The Son of Man is lord of the sabbath.” (Lk 6:3-5)

Did not God choose those who are poor in the world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom that He promised to those who love Him? (Jas 2:5) You are inflated with pride. Your boasting is not appropriate. (1 Cor 5:2,6). Learn not to go beyond what is written, so that none of you will be inflated with pride (1 Cor 4:6). Clear out the old so that you may become fresh (1 Cor 5:7). Celebrate the feast, not with the old yeast of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth. (1 Cor 5:8).

The Lord keeps all who love Him, but all the wicked He will destroy (Ps 145:20). The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. He fulfills the desire of those who fear Him, He hears their cry and saves them. (Ps 145:18-19)

Lord Jesus, I know who You are—the Holy One of God! (Lk 4:34).  You, O God, delight not in wickedness; no evil man remains with You; the arrogant may not stand in Your sight. You hate all evildoers. You destroy all who speak falsehood; the bloodthirsty and the deceitful the Lord abhors. (Ps 5:5-7) But let all who take refuge in You be glad and exult forever. Protect them, that You may be the joy of those who love Your name. (Ps 5:12).

Be Generous as the Lord is Generous

Everyone who has given up houses
or brothers or sisters or father or mother
or children or lands for the sake of my name
will receive a hundred times more,
and will inherit eternal life.
(Matthew 19:29)

Jesus said: “Amen, I say to you, it will be hard for one who is rich to enter the Kingdom of heaven. Again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for one who is rich to enter the Kingdom of God.” (Mt. 19:23-23)

Today is the day when the Lord shall set you out to be with Him as His champion (Jgs 6:12). Be calm, do not fear (Jgs 6:23). You have found favor with God. He gives you a sign that He is speaking with you (Jgs 6:17).

The Lord said, “Today I will begin to exalt you in the sight of all, that they may know I am with you (Jos 3:7). Go with the strength you have. It is I who send you.” (Jgs 6:14). You may be the most lowliest and insignificant but I shall be with you and will enable you to win the battle (Jgs 6:15). "Many who are first will be last, and the last will be first.” (Mt 19:30)

The Lord your God will Himself  look after you and tend to all your needs (Ez 34:11). In Him, you shall not lack anything but will have everything. “For men this is impossible, but for God all things are possible.” (Mt 19:26)

Do the same to all those whom the Lord has brought to you and placed under your care. Set your heart on what you can give and not on what you can take from them (Ez 34:2-3). Strengthen the weak, heal the sick, bind up the injured. Bring back the strayed and seek the lost. Do not lord it over them but instead love and take care of them as your own.  (Ez 34:4)

It is not the time spent for work that matters but the productivity and fruitfulness of your laborers. When it comes to their pay, give them what is just. You are free to do as you wish with your own money. Be generous as the Lord is generous with you beginning with the last and ending with the first. (Mt. 20:13-16)

Jesus Leads You Up A High Mountain

PATIO IMPROVEMENT

Jesus took Peter, James, and John and
led them up a high mountain apart by themselves.
And he was transfigured before them,
and his clothes became dazzling white,
such as no fuller on earth could bleach them.
(Mark 9:2-3)

As they were coming down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, “Do not tell the vision to anyone until the Son of Man has been raised from the dead.”  (Matthew 9:9).

In the visions of God He brought me into the land and set me on a very high mountain, and on it to the south there was a structure like a city (Ezekiel 40:2). And it will come about in the last days that the mountain of the house of the LORD will be established as the chief of the mountains. It will be raised above the hills, and the peoples will stream to it.(Micah 4:1).

Many nations will come and say, “Come and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD and to the house of the God, that He may teach us about His ways and that we may walk in His paths.” (Micah 4:2)

“For on My holy mountain, on the high mountainl,” declares the Lord GOD, “there the whole house , all of them, will serve Me in the land; there I will accept them and there I will seek your contributions and the choicest of your gifts, with all your holy things.(Ezekiel 20:40). On the high mountain I will plant it, that it may bring forth boughs and bear fruit and become a stately cedar. And birds of every kind will nest under it; they will nest in the shade of its branches" (Ezekiel 17:23). I will feed them in a good pasture, and their grazing ground will be on the mountain heights. There they will lie down on good grazing ground and feed in rich pasture (Ezekiel 34:14). In that day you will feel no shame because of all your deeds by which you have rebelled against Me; For then I will remove from your midst your proud, exulting ones, and you will never again be haughty an My holy mountain". (Zephaniah 3:11)

You will bring them and plant them in the mountain of Your inheritance, the place, O LORD, which You have made for Your dwelling, the sanctuary, O Lord, which Your hands have established (Exodus 15:17).

Why spend your money for what is not bread;
your wages for what fails to satisfy?
Heed me, and you shall eat well,
you shall delight in rich fare.
(Isaiah 55:2)

One who loves money will not be satisfied with money, nor one who loves abundance with its income. This too is futility. (Ecclesiastes 5:10). People will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, slanderers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy (2 Timothy 3:2). For the love of money is a root of all sorts of evil, and some by longing for it have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs (1 Timothy 6:10).

You have sown much, only to harvest little; you eat, but there is not enough to be satisfied; you drink, but there is not enough to become drunk; you put on clothing, but there is not enough for anyone to get warm; and the one who earns, earns wages to put into a money bag full of holes (Haggai 1:6).

The LORD says: “You were sold for nothing, and you will be redeemed without money.” (Isaiah 52:3). You there! Everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and you who have no money come, buy and eat. Come, buy wine and milk without money and without cost. (Isaiah 55:1)

Jesus said, “Sell your possessions and give to charity; make yourselves money belts that do not wear out, an inexhaustible treasure in heaven, where no thief comes near nor does a moth destroy (Luke 12:33).

The overseer must be beyond reproach as God's steward, not self-willed, not quick-tempered, not overindulging in wine, not a bully, not greedy for money (Titus 1:7). Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, “I will never desert you, nor will I ever abandon you" (Hebrews 13:5).

Jesus said to them,
“I am the bread of life;
whoever comes to me will never hunger,
and whoever believes in me will never thirst.”
(John 6:35)

The Lord said, “I will now rain down bread from heaven for you. Each day the people are to go out and gather their daily portion; thus will I test them, to see whether they follow my instructions or not" (Exodus 16:4). In the evening twilight you shall eat flesh, and in the morning you shall have your fill of bread, so that you may know that I, the Lord, am your God” (Exodus 16:12).

This is the bread which the Lord has given you to eat (Exodus 16:15). He commanded the skies above and the doors of heaven He opened; He rained manna upon them for food and gave them heavenly bread. Man ate the bread of angels, food He sent them in abundance. (Psalm 78:23-25)

Jesus said, “Do not work for food that perishes but for the food that endures for eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. For on Him the Father, God, has set His seal. This is the work of God, that you believe in the one He sent. (John 6:27-28) Amen, amen, I say to you, you are looking for Me not because you saw signs but because you ate the loaves and were filled”  (John 6:26).

So they said to Him, “What sign can You do, that we may see and believe in You? What can You do? Our ancestors ate manna in the desert, as it is written: He gave them bread from heaven to eat.” So Jesus said to them, “Amen, amen, I say to you, it was not Moses who gave the bread from heaven; my Father gives you the true bread from heaven. (John 6:30-32)

Turn Back

Perhaps they will listen and turn back,
each from his evil way, so that I
may repent of the evil I have planned
to inflict upon them for their evil deeds.
(Jeremiah 26:3)

The anger of the LORD will not turn back until He has performed and carried out the purposes of His heart; in the last days you will clearly understand it (Jereremiah 23:20, 30:24).

The LORD warned through all His prophets and every seer, saying, “Turn back from your evil ways and keep My commandments and My statutes in accordance with all the Law which I commanded your fathers, and which I sent to you through My servants the prophets” (2 Kings 17:13).

This is what the LORD says: “Behold, I am forming a disaster against you and devising a plan against you. Now turn back, each of you from his evil way, and correct your ways and your deeds!” (Jeremiah 18:11)

“Say to them, ‘As I live!' declares the Lord GOD, ‘I take no pleasure at all in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked turn from his way and live. Turn back, turn back from your evil ways! Why then should you die?' (Ezekiel 33:11)

God sent John to turn many back to the Lord their God. And it is he who will go as a forerunner before Him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of fathers back to their children, and the disobedient to the attitude of the righteous, to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.” (Luke 1:16-17).

Now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how is it that you turn back again to the weak and worthless elementary principles, to which you want to be enslaved all over again? (Galatians 4:9)

I will hear what God the LORD will say; For He will speak peace to His people, to His godly ones; and may they not turn back to foolishness (Psalm 85:5).

The Old and the New

“Then every scribe who has been instructed in the Kingdom of heaven
is like the head of a household who brings from his storeroom
both the new and the old.” -
MATTHEW 13 : 52

"People do not put new wine into old wineskins. otherwise the skins burst, the wine spills out, and the skins are ruined. Rather, they pour new wine into fresh wineskins, and both are preserved.” (Matthew 9:17)

We were indeed buried with him through baptism into death, so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might live in newness of life (Romans 6:4). So whoever is in Christ is a new creation: the old things have passed away; behold, new things have come (2 Corinthians 5:17).

Jesus and Sirach: "Forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. If you forgive others their transgressions, your heavenly Father will forgive you. But if you do not forgive others, neither will your Father forgive your transgressions” (Matthew 6:12, 14-15). Forgive your neighbor the wrong he has done, and then your sins will be pardoned when you pray (Sirach 28:2).

Acts and Psalms: We ourselves are proclaiming this good news to you that what God promised our fathers he has brought to fulfillment for us, their children, by raising up Jesus, as it is written in the second psalm, You are my son; this day I have begotten you (Acts 13:32-33). I will proclaim the decree of the Lord: The Lord said to me, “You are my Son; this day I have begotten you” (Psalm 2:7).

1 Peter and Isaiah: He Himself bore our sins in his body upon the cross, so that, free from sin, we might live for righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed. For you had gone astray like sheep, but you have now returned to the shepherd and guardian of your souls. (1 Peter 2:24-25) It was our infirmities that He bore, our sufferings that He endured, while we thought of Him as stricken, as one smitten by God and afflicted. But He was pierced for our offenses, crushed for our sins, upon Him was the chastisement that makes us whole, by His stripes we were healed. We had all gone astray like sheep, each following his own way; but the Lord laid upon him the guilt of us all. (Isaiah 53:4-6)

Buy and Sell

Jesus said to his disciples:
“The Kingdom of heaven is like a treasure buried in a field,
which a person finds and hides again,
and out of joy goes and sells all that he has and buys that field."
(Matthew 13:36-43)

Buy means to acquire the possession of, or the right to, by paying or promising to pay an equivalent, especially in money; purchase, to acquire by exchange or concession. The word originated before 1000; Middle English byen, variant of byggen, buggen, Old English bycgan; cognate with Old Saxon buggjan,Gothic bugjan to buy, Old Norse byggja to lend, rent (Dictionary.com)

Sell means to transfer (goods) to or render (services) for another in exchange for money; dispose of to a purchaser for a price, to deal in; keep or offer for sale. First recorded before 900; Middle English sellen, Old English sellan, originally, “to give,” hence, “to give up (someone) to an enemy, betray, exchange for money”; cognate with Old Norse selja, Low German sellen, Gothic saljan “to give up, sell,” originally, “to cause to take”; akin to Greek heleîn “to take, grasp” (Dictionary.com)

Buy/Sell means the act of exchanging an asset for money or vice versa. Buying is acquiring an asset in exchange for money, while selling is giving away an asset to receive money. Buying and selling can be done for various reasons, such as hoping to make a profit, avoiding a loss, or satisfying a need. (embibe.com, capital.com)

My son, keep My words and treasure My commandments within you (Proverbs 7:11). Buy truth, and do not sell it, get wisdom, instruction, and understanding (Proverbs 23:23). He will be the stability of your times, a wealth of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge; The fear of the LORD is His treasure (Isaiah 33:6).

Jesus said, "for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also (Matthew 6:21). The good person brings out of his good treasure good things (Matthew 12:35). If you want to be complete, go and sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me (Matthew 19:21). A disciple of the kingdom of heaven is like a head of a household, who brings out of his treasure new things and old” (Matthew 13:52).

"Ask, and it will be given to you;

(Matthew 7:7 ; Luke 11:9)

Seek means to go in search or quest of (to seek the truth), to try to find or discover by searching or questioning (to seek the solution to a problem). First recorded before 900; Middle English seken, Old English sēcan; cognate with German suchen, Old Norse sœkja, Gothic sōkjan; akin to Latin sāgīre “to perceive by scent”. (Dictionary.com)

“Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided to you" (Mt 6:33).

Seek the LORD while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near; let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the LORD, that he may have mercy on him, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon (Isaiah 55:6-7). Look to the Lord in His strength; seek to serve Him constantly (Ps 105:4).

The one who searches hearts knows what is the intention of the Spirit, because it intercedes for the holy ones according to God’s will (Rom 8:27).  Glory in His holy name; rejoice, O hearts that seek the Lord! (Ps 105:3).

I sought the Lord, and He answered me and delivered me from all my fears (Ps 34:5). I sought Him whom my heart loves (Song 3:1).

O God, you are my God whom I seek; for you my flesh pines and my soul thirsts like the earth, parched, lifeless and without water (Ps 63:2). I am yours; save me, for I have sought your precepts (Ps 119:94).With all my heart I seek you; let me not stray from your commands (Ps 119:10).

Do means to perform (an act, duty, role, etc.), to execute (a piece or amount of work), to act or conduct oneself; be in action; behave, to proceed. First recorded before 900; Middle English, Old English dōn; cognate with Dutch doen, German tun; akin to Latin -dere “to put,” facere “to make, do,” Greek tithénai “to set, put,” Sanskrit dadhāti “(he) puts”. (Dictionary.com)

The will of God or divine will is a concept found in the Hebrew Bible, the New Testament, and the Quran, according to which God's will is the first cause of everything that exists. According to Thomas Aquinas, God is the "Highest Good".The Summa Theologiae affirms that "God alone is good essentially". Because in Jesus Christ God there are two natures, the human and the divine one, Aquinas states that in Him there are two distinct wills: the human will and the divine will. (Wikipedia)

This is the will of God, your sanctification; that is, that you abstain from sexual immorality (1Th 4:3). Live the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for human lusts, but for the will of God (1Pe 4:2). For such is the will of God, that by doing right you silence the ignorance of foolish people (1Pe 2:15). Not by way of eye-service, as people-pleasers, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart (Eph 6:6).

For the gospel has for this purpose been preached even to those who are dead, that though they are judged in the flesh as people, they may live in the spirit according to the will of God (1Pe 4:6). Therefore, those also who suffer according to the will of God are to entrust their souls to a faithful Creator in doing what is right (1Pe 4:19).

He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He intercedes for the saints according to the will of God (Rom 8:27). And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect (Rom 12:2).

In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus (1Th 5:18). For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised (Heb 10:36).

See the Victory of the Lord

VILLA 1 - GABRIEL

“Fear not! Stand your ground,
and you will see the victory the Lord
will win for you today."
(Exodus 14:13)

"There is something greater here.” (Mt 12:41-42) Your right hand, O Lord, magnificent in power, Your right hand, O Lord, has shattered the enemy (Ex 15:6).

“Fear not! Stand your ground, and you will see the victory the Lord will win for you today. The Lord Himself will fight for you; you have only to keep still.”   (Ex 14:13)

In times of great fright, you cry out to the Lord and even complain, "Why did you do this to us? Leave us alone. Far better for us to be the slaves than to die.” (Ex 14:10-12)

The Lord said, “Why are you crying out to me? Go forward that you may pass through it on dry land. I will make them so obstinate that they will go in after you. Then I will receive glory through them and they shall know that I am the Lord. (Ex 14:15-18)

The Lord is a warrior, Lord is His name! Pharaoh’s chariots and army He hurled into the sea; the elite of his officers were submerged in the Red Sea. The flood waters covered them, they sank into the depths like a stone. (Ex 15:3-5)

I will sing to the Lord, for He is gloriously triumphant; horse and chariot he has cast into the sea. My strength and my courage is the Lord, and He has been my savior. He is my God, I praise Him; the God of my father, I extol Him. (Ex 15:1-2)

A bruised reed He will not break,
a smoldering wick He will not quench,
until He brings justice to victory.
And in His name the Gentiles will hope.
(Matthew 12:20-21)

With what shall you come before the Lord, and bow before God most high? Shall you come before Him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old? Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, with myriad streams of oil? Shall you give your first-born for your crime, the fruit of your body for the sin of your soul? - Micah 6:6-7

The Lord said, “Not for your sacrifices do I rebuke you, for your burnt offerings are before me always. I take from your house no bullock, no goats out of your fold (Ps 50:8-9). Why do you recite my statutes, and profess my covenant with your mouth, though you hate discipline and cast my words behind you? (Ps 50:16-17). When you do these things, shall I be deaf to it? Or do you think that I am like yourself? I will correct you by drawing them up before your eyes (Ps 50:21).

Today, you have been told what is good, and what the Lord requires of you: Only to do right and to love goodness, and to walk humbly with your God (Mi 6:8). He that offers praise as a sacrifice glorifies Me; and to him that goes the right way I will show the salvation of God (Ps. 50:23).

Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will raise up a righteous shoot to David; as king He shall reign and govern wisely, He shall do what is just and right in the land (Jer. 23:5).

I myself will gather the remnant of my flock from all the lands to which I have driven them and bring them back to their meadow; there they shall increase and multiply (Jer. 23:3). In His days Judah shall be saved, Israel shall dwell in security. This is the name they give Him: “The Lord our justice.” (Jer. 23:6)

Moses, hearing the voice of the Lord
from the burning bush, said to him,
“When I go to the children of Israel and say to them,
‘The God of your fathers has sent me to you,’
if they ask me, ‘What is his name?’
what am I to tell them?”
(Exodus 3:13)

Today, God has taken upon Himself to address your plight and lead you up out of your misery. He wants to set you free and transform the land your are living into a land that is flowing with milk and honey. Be the light of the Lord so that others will see His good works.

God has set you free from darkness and you can now see clearly to walk the way in accordance with the light of God's truth. Moreover, He constantly saves you from every pitfall of darkness that may come your way.

Self-righteousness, arrogance, and pride have brought you to your numerous downfalls in the past. You have attributed your past successes only to yourself and not to the Lord who in truth, have made it all possible for you to achieve these things.

In God's love, mercy, and grace, you no longer live for yourself but for the one who died for you in the cross, your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. In Him, your joy was made complete. No longer a temporary joy but a permanent joy of living in peace and abundance each day.

The Lord continues to make you experience His wondrous deeds. He made you profit most on each of the binding covenants and contracts that He brings to you each day. Your business continues to grow and increase that will make you strong and stable.

Give thanks to the Lord and invoke His holy Name.

"People do not put new wine into old wineskins.
Otherwise the skins burst, the wine spills out,
and the skins are ruined.
Rather, they pour new wine into fresh wineskins,
and both are preserved.”
(Mattthew 9:17)

Christ dwells with you and glory shall forever dwell in your land. Put on the new and take courage in the Lord.

Today, God's hand makes you accomplish all the works and undertakings that He sets before you. You shall be free of your work responsibilities to journey in the land that He has given you.

The Lord shall continue with its building and development and further expand to other lands with gardens and fruit bearing trees. He shall firmly plant you upon your own ground; never again shall you be plucked from the land God has given you.

God's grace is sufficient for you. Therefore, be content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and constraints, for the sake of Christ; for when you are weak, then you are strong. Power is made perfect in weakness. Do not become too elated or sated with contempt of the proud nor rebel against the Lord.

Even Jesus experienced these in His own native place. He was perceived based on His personal background and not by the good deeds and miracles that have changed the lives of so many people. He was amazed at their lack of faith.

As for you, take courage for your faith has saved you. Fear only makes things worse. Instead of having faith, it will make you dwell on the negative such as worries, anxieties, and stress. It can even trigger panic and nervousness.

Believe and Be at Peace

PATIO IMPROVEMENT

VILLA ALESSA
July 03, 2023

“Peace be with you.
Have you come to believe because you have seen Me?
Blessed are those who have not seen and have believed.”
JOHN 20 : 26,29

There is always something about God that remains a mystery. In science, we say, “To see is to believe.” In faith, the reverse is true: “To believe is to see.” Faith is to believe in things not seen, heard, touched, or felt.

Today is a day set by the Lord for you to believe and be at peace with full hope and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ who is always near you. He is your peace who shall bring to fulfillment all that was promised to you, most especially your own dwelling place. Let the peace of God reign in your heart and mind through Christ.

We are all doubters in varying degrees. We are skeptic of the things we do not see, hear, touch, or smell. We always operate through our senses.

Of course, we need signs to believe; we do not believe out of nothing. God gives us the grace to believe. Our senses still have their uses. They provide us with reasons to make that leap of faith. Doubt will not be a major problem if the person is open to the truth. Truth has the  power to eventually bring a person round to it.

“My Lord and my God!” is a profession of faith. We are encouraged to exclaim it like Thomas when the priest presents the consecrated Host before we receive it. In essence, we are saying, “I believe You are present here and now, Lord. Help my unbelief for me to see Your glory.”

Seek to strengthen your faith through prayer and meditation on the Word of God.

The Lord, the God of heaven,
took you, and who confirmed by oath
the promise He then made to you,
‘I will give this land to your descendants’
(Genesis 24:7)

This is the prophecy that the Lord sets upon you today (Amos 7:15). The Lord alone is your saving help, and in His favor, you shall see the prosperity you seek and rejoice in the glory of your inheritance (Ps 106:4-5).

Although you are a resident alien in this place, you shall acquire lots of holdings and properties. Your business transactions in this place shall deal with real estate, building and development.

This will be the permanent dwelling place of your wife, entire family, and descendants (Gen 23:4, 19).  Here, you shall spend your ripe old age, and the Lord shall blessed you in every way (Gen 24:1). Besides your family, several servants will live with you. The senior servant shall be in charge of your possessions who will ensure that all your wishes for your descendants shall be followed by the book and for all time (Gen 24:2-4). It is in this place that your generation shall flourish.

Blessed are they who observe what is right, who do always what is just (Ps 106:3). Consider this, never forget the Lord, lest I rend you and there be no one to rescue you (Ps 50:22).

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good all the time and His mercy endures forever (Ps 106:1-2). Always remember that, "He that offers praise as a sacrifice glorifies the Lord; and to him that goes the right way the Lord will show the salvation of God" (Ps 50:23).

“Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed,
suffering dreadfully.”
He said to him,
“I will come and cure him.”
(Matthew 8:6-7)

We all need healing, we all need the Lord. We believe He can make us whole again.

Today, the Lord opens your heart to be mindful of the paralysis in life. It takes on different forms: physical, emotional, psychological, spiritual, or moral. It assumes many names: infirmity, malady, woundedness, brokenness, or sinfulness. It bogs you down. It depletes your energy. It makes you feel empty. It burdens your minds. It depresses your spirit.

God has fully restored the fullness of your health and well-being. You have been healed not just physically but moreover spiritually. You got two gifts for the price of one. And the price? Faith. Jesus willed that you receive total healing for the price of one: your deep faith in Him who heals and bids you to rise again. You have been cured because of your faith.

Give everything to God and be devoted to Him. Do not withhold anything from Him. It is not about you but it is always about the Lord for whatever He wills, He does. Only the Lord can remove all these forms of paralysis and make you whole again.
