Out of the pureness of our hearts by unselfishly sharing our time, talent, and treasures, the fulfillment of our dreams continuous to unfold right in our very eyes.
By God’s grace, we have finally completed installing all the necessary downspouts in order to address the overflowing of gutters. Catch basins on the Canopy Area had already been connected to the drainage system and concrete covers are currently being done. The exposed downspouts shall be clad in bricks in the days to come. Brick-Laying works on Column marked L4 at the left side of the church is almost complete. The Main Truss marked L1 which is currently on-going while Wall Span marked L2 is likewise almost complete. Wall Span marked L3 which is the small wall near the door had already been covered by CHB and shall also be clad in bricks.
In reply to query regarding the relocation of the door, we wish to stress that it is imperative to demolish and remove the old column before the proper relocation can take place. This has been done in accordance with the Plans and Specifications made by our Architects and Engineers. The said relocation is almost complete and the door is now properly located at the center of the two Main Trusses. We also started working on the fabrication and installation of new window grills.
We are almost halfway finish in terms of raising the necessary funds to fully settle our obligations and payables for the roof and ceiling works. Total donations received as of October 29, 2008 amounted to Php 950,340.17 or 43.20% of our 2.2Million target. We still need to raise an amount of Php 1,249,654.83 on or before February 22, 2009 which is the deadline set for 2.2 @ 22.
